Memories

It seems like everyone is posting this post. Since I had a fun time going down memory lane it's your turn.

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

You're it!

Ok, so my good friend Adrienne tagged me. What the heck is a tag and what do you do with it? The only tag at my house is freeze tag or cartoon tag or good old regular tag your it!!! So with a little help from Adrienne, I think I have figured this one out. So here it goes.

How to play this game of tag.
Post these rules on your blog:List 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
3 Joys
1-my family 2-coke 3-sleep
3 Fears
1-Losing my family 2-talking in front of people (not my best thing). 3-not making it to the celestial kingdom. (I'm working on this one.)
3 Goals
1-graduate from Dixie (even thoe I plan on not working afterwards) 2-potty training Carson by the time he turns 3. 3- trying to raise my children to live the right way and stand up for what they believe in.
3 Current obsessions/collections
1- Coca-Cola (I can't get through my day with out one) 2- Salsa (Pancho's and Leftys is my favorite) 3- Chocolate!!!!
3 Random or Surprising facts about myself
1-I am horrible at math. I had to take Math 1010 four times. 2- I am getting gray hair. ( I guess that means I am getting old) 3- It grosses me out when there are burgers hanging out of peoples or kids noses.

Okay Emily, Angie, Hollie, Jessie, Megan your turn.

P.S The first paragraph I stole from my friend Adrienne. I am the least creative person in the world.

The Zoo

The last couple of weeks has been a whril wind of traveling and celebrating the fourth of July. While we were in Salt Lake we took Carson to the zoo for the first time. He loved it!! He has been into monkeys and trains, so when we went to the zoo he was so excited. We were able to go with my sister Michelle, my two nephews and my mom. I am so grateful that my mom was able to come. We have been through so much within this last year. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father answers our prayers. I know that he has been answering my begging and pleading that my mom would get well, and because of him my mother has been more happier then I have seen her in a long time. On a brighter note....here are some pictures of the zoo.

Exciting Week

This week has been an exciting and a tear jerking one so far, and it is only Wednesday. Both of my boys are growing up, and begining to explore the world on their own.

Yesterday I get a phone call at work from Sean with him telling me that Carson went potty. Sean is the only person that Carson will go potty for. I have mixed feelings because I know Carson is my last baby and I won't be changing anymore diapers EVER!!! WOOHOO!!! Then again Carson is my last baby, and I won't be changing anymore diapers ever. Also, my 10 year old son is potty training him. I haven't figured if it is a good thing or a bad thing, but it is working for everyone in this household.

Today I sent Sean away to Salt Lake City on an airplane all by himself. He is going to be spending the week with Scott's parents (Papa and Nana), and three of his cousins that are his age. They all have the weekend planned with going to Indiana Bones at the Desert Star theater. I was kind of having anxiety with having Sean away from me for almost a week, but Scott told me to suck it up. So sucking it up it is. He called me this evening to let me know that he got to Salt Lake safe and sound, then he asked to talk to Carson. He didn't want to talk to anyone but his little brother. I love the way they adore each other.

Carly has also been a huge help. Her favorite thing to do this summer is going to the pool. I love Washington City because everytime we go swimming Carly always finds a friend to swim and play on the waterslide with, and I am able to keep a better eye on Carson. She is looking forward to going to Salt Lake next week with one of her best friends Wyatt. We are going to be going to Lagoon, Raging Waters and the zoo. I think we are all counting down the days when we arrive on our mini vacation.

I wish I had pictures for this post, but I always forget to bring my camera. Next time I will do better. I am still trying to figure out how to change the layout on my blog as well. I am sure I will get to it eventually.

Here in Washington, Utah they just built the biggest rec center in Utah. I am so stoked because it is walking distance from my house. I will let the pictures describe how much fun this place is. It is the biggest aquatic center in Utah!! I love how Sean and Carly can go swimming or climb the climbing rock or play basketball and I know they are safe. If you ever come to Saint George I highly recommend playing here, and the best part is you will probably see me!!!

I have came to realize that I really need to make more time for blogging. The weather has been awesome here in Saint George, and we have been taking advantage of the great weather. After living here for 9 years I love the 100 degree weather, and there are times when I wonder how I survived walking back and forth to Indian Hills middle school in the cold snow. Finally, school is out and 100 degree weather is here!!!

Sean just graduated from elementary school!!! Here in Saint George sixth grade is considered middle school. He now will be taking a bus to the biggest school I have ever seen, and he will be having seven teachers. He decided that he is going to take orchestra and playing the cello. I can't believe my baby is growing up. Sean is almost taller than I am and his feet are bigger then mine. Last weekend we were in Arby's and I mentioned it was cold in there and Sean gave me his sweatshirt. I guess wearing a Ryan Schekler sweatshirt in the middle of summer is the IN thing now. I dont get it, but it helped me out and we wear the same sweat shirt size.

We're Back!

We're back!! Everyone who knows me I am the biggest procrastinator in the world. Right now I am suppose to be studying for finals, but I decided that I needed to catch up on my blogging at two in the morning. I am still trying to get use to figuring out how to blog. I am a very slow learner.

On a brighter note, we have been very busy. The kids has been doing great with soccer, and our saturdays have been juggling two different soccer games. I have come to the conclusion that I am ONE of thoes moms!! I am the mother who yells at the refs for making a bad call, getting mad at the coaches for taking my child out of the game and getting frustrated at my child for letting the ball roll right pass them. (Of course me yelling at the ref is very quietly so that no one can hear me.)

Carson is so much fun now. We are slowly getting away from the baby talk and we can have a normal conversation. No more of him screaming because I don't understand what he wants. His favorite words are Mommy I want juice, mommy I want cocoa, mommy I want to go outside, mommy , mommy, mommy sometimes the word mommy really gets on my nerves. Other than that we have so much fun playing together. I feel like I am the luckiest mom ever. I have been able to spend quality alone time with each of my children before they start school. I guess Scott and I have the perfect timing.
