Disneyland!

Scott and I just came back from taking the kiddies on our Annual trip to Disneyland. This year we were able to go to Knotts Berry Farm too!! We were able to spend some time with Scott's two brothers and their families. We spent three days at Disneyland, and the time went by too fast. We all had a wonderful time, and we can't wait to go back next fall.

P.S. Don't forget to watch ABC on Christmas day, you might see me on the Christmas Show LIVE at Disneyland!!!

The Kiddies

Okay so I admit it.. it has been a LONNNGG while since I've blogged. I can blame my laziness on so many aspects, but honestly I have no reason. I will try to do better...key word TRY. I was looking at my last blog, and I didn't think I was that far behind on blogging..but I haven't blogged in a year. Where did all of the time go? The kids are getting so big. Sean turns 13 next week..AHHHHH!!!! I have a teenager..crazy! He will be starting 8th grade and he thinks he already knows more than me. Geez..he sounds like me when I was his age. Carly is 10 now and will be in 5th grade..alright all of my friends whom I grew up with...who were my cousins in the 5th grade?? Can we say NKOTB??? hehehe Oh yeah and Where did Babies come from?? Jess..Help me out here? Carson will be in his last year of preschool and will start kindergarten next year. Where did the time go? I'm so grateful for my kids and my husband. For now on I will try to keep my blog updated. I know if I don't I will regret it.

Carson's First Day of School

I'm a little behind on blogging..okay I'm alot behind. My goal is to get caught up before the New Year starts. In August Sean, Carly and Carson all started school. Sean started the 7th grade, Carly the 4th and Carson preschool. For some reason I was or still am having a really hard time letting my baby go to school. Probably because he is my last baby and it seems like he grew up way to fast. Carson is loving his preschool and it is only a couple of houses away from my house which I love. He has an amazing teacher and had made alot of good friends. I'm just hoping that these next two years of preschool will go by more slowly then when Sean and Carly went to preschool.

In with the Old; Out with the New

The year 2009 has been a huge eye opener for me! I don't know if it is because I am getting older, or if I am not as naieve as I once have been. After noticing that this world isn't a perfect, happy place like I once had thought, I have decided I am going to make alot of changes and goals for myself. First of all, I am going to be a better wife to my husband. I have noticed that Scott really does love me and will do anything for me. I have decided I am going to quit asking so many dang questions, and to start serving his dinner more. As for my children I have decided to say NO more often. I have been told I am too nice of a mom, and I realized that my kids will ask the same question over and over again until I give them the answer they want. Therefore, my new answer will be NO over and over again. I have decided that perhaps I will save alot more money this way. I have also decided to call my parents and my parents in laws at least once a week whether they like it or not! They will hear from me and all of the wonderful stories I have about myself and my children. As for my friends, I have decided to get rid of the mean, decietful, dishonest ones. I think I am doing a dang good job getting rid of them. The last decision I have made is that I am going to go to church every Sunday. I have a fear of going to outter darkness. Right now I believe I am at the point where they will put me in time out, to let me see what it is really like. I have decided if I start going to church that I will have a chance of staying out of time out. I only want happiness in my life, so I can think that this world is made of Sugar and Spice and everything nice.

My Sister In Law Ally!

I just wanted to blog on how proud I am of my sister in law Ally. Ally has decided to take her summer vacation off of college to do an internship at the Dominican Republic at the orphange home. Hearing some of the stories and looking at some of the pictures of the children, makes me appreciate how lucky we are to live here in America. In the first picture, Ally is the girl on the right in the first row. We are so proud of you Ally!!

Remodeling

I think a lot of you have already seen some of these pictures since everyone is on Facebook, which I think that this is the most craziest, addicting thing ever. Scott and I have been busy remodeling the house, and getting the kids into their own rooms. After living in our house for four years we had decided it is time to make the change. We are in the middle of transforming our huge storage room into a fourth bedroom for Sean. We are going to be moving Carly downstairs and Carson will be in the same room. We had also decided it was time to kick Carson out of our room and into his own bed. I wasn't going to give in and buy this Car bed, but since it went on sale we gave into the temptation and bought this bed. Carson was so happy that we bought him this bed, he is still thanking us. Hopefully now that he has a big boy bed, he will go potty.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a very busy day for us. Scott had decided that the kids and I were going to wake up with him at 6:30 in the morning and take a morning drive to Park City. He wanted to see all of the chimineys going with smoke, he says it looks like a Christmas Village. Then he wanted to have breakfast there. Well we all woke up and went, but it was freezing cold. The town did look like a Christmas Village with all of the chimineys smoking. When we had the morning experience we decided to eat breakfast at Denny's. Did you know there isn't any place to eat breakfast in Park City? We finally settled for McDonalds, which by the way is the most expensive McDonalds ever. After breakfast we decided to go downtown and look at Temple Square. Scott and I realized we had never taken our kids to the visitor center in Salt Lake. I have decided it is so much better to go Temple Square during the day time then at night. It is a lot warmer, and it isn't crowded at all. The last picture is of Carson looking at Jesus and listening to the story. We had attempted to get a family picture in front of Jesus. The kids had a lot of fun looking at all of the pictures from the Book of Mormon at the Center. After Temple Square we were going to go to the Downtown mall, but we found out it was closed. Scott and I decided to drop the kids over at my dad's while we finished last minute shopping, and have lunch without the kids. That evening we went to Scott's brother's house for our Traditional Christmas Eve dinner. Derek and Meredith made yummy soup in bread bowls. After dinner the kids went downstairs to perform the Nativity. Believe it or not these aren't even half of the cousins on Scott's side. Mary and Joseph is what the family likes to call kissing cousins. When they were younger they told everyone they were going to get married. After the wonderful program, the kids decided to do YMCA. We watched the Christmas story after the performance. Thanks to my brother in law, Derek, who is a Seminary principal the movie brought back memories of me watching that same movie. After the movie we had karoke with Sing Star. After the party we went back to my dad's house. Amber and Danny came and slept over with us. The kids opened their Christmas PaJamas and we put them to bed. We had a great Christmas Eve.
